I spend most of my life in Tvishi, however, at some pint of my life I emigrated to Italy, where the COVID 19 pandemic caught me. During extensive lockdowns, I discovered paper-weaving technique, which caught my attention given the aesthetics and practical use of paper-woven items. I started acquiring this skill, as I believe in continuous learning and it also gave me the feeling that I could practically use it in my household and possible turn it into a small craft business. 

Upon returning to Georgia, I continued weaving with paper and soon, I discovered that my work was attracting people's attention and those willing to buy my work were multiplying. Hence, I started a small craft business of handmade paper-woven household items and accessories. Now I am converting my family house in the village of Tvishi into a guesthouse, where besides stay in wonderful surroundings, I will be offering individual and group masterclasses in paper-weaving and hopefully, more people will engage in this craft for leisure and business.
