The Strategy covers 2024-2028 and in this period we will work to realise our joint vision of turning Lentekhi into:
A community
where the standard of living is constantly rising.
A place
where diverse, sustainable entrepreneurial activity is continuously developing and decent employment opportunities are created locally.
An environment
where all members of society, especially young people, enjoy life, have access to diverse services, cultural, educational and sporting spaces and events, and can realize their skills and abilities.
Strategic priorities
To achieve our vision for Lentekhi, we have identified four key priority areas:
Tourism development
Where our goal is to increase the share of the tourism sector in the economy of Lentekhi Municipality.
- Awareness and promotion of the municipality as a tourist destination
- Diversification of tourism products to maximize its potential
- Development of tourism infrastructure to support the tourism sector
- Support for small and medium-sized businesses in the tourism sector for the sustainable development of the sector and the municipality
Agricultural development
Where our goal is to increase the economic benefits of agriculture with an eco-orientation.
To achieve this goal, the following objectives were defined:
- Increasing the awareness of the municipality and maintaining its status as a place for producing natural and biologically pure agricultural products.
- Developing sustainable and eco-friendly small and medium-sized entrepreneurship in the agricultural sector.
SME development and diversification
Where our goal is to create diverse opportunities in the business sector in Lentekhi Municipality and reduce dependence on limited directions.
To achieve this goal, the following objectives were defined:
- Raising awareness and skills about entrepreneurship among the local population
- Promoting diversification of small and medium-sized businesses in Lentekhi Municipality
Sports, culture, education and youth support
Where our goal is to create diverse sports, cultural, educational and youth opportunities in the municipality.
To achieve this goal, the following objectives were defined:
- Popularization and systematization of youth sports events in Lentekhi Municipality
- Support for the diversity and popularization of cultural life
- Promoting the development of an interesting cultural life for young people in the municipality
- Promoting the development of opportunities for acquiring skills and knowledge outside of school in the municipality
- Increasing the involvement of young people in decisions related to youth
- Developing an entrepreneurial spirit and skills in young people, and promoting the change of stereotypes related to the choice of profession/higher education
