What sectors are represented in Lentekhi LAG


The Lentekhi Local Action Group unites representatives of the local public, entrepreneurial and civil sectors.   


Who is considered as a public sector representative

Public sector representatives are considered to be the following operating within the boundaries of Tsageri Municipality: 

  • Local self-government body, its employees;
  • Employees of regional/territorial services of state authorities (ministry, department, LEPL, etc.);
  • Legal entities of public law and their heads;
  • Legal entities of private law and their heads, where the state or local self-government (or any of its bodies) owns a share and/or is represented in the governing body. 

Who is considered as an entrepreneurial sector representative

A representative of the entrepreneurial sector is considered to be a natural person or legal entity that, in accordance with the Law of Georgia "On Entrepreneurs", is engaged in entrepreneurial activity.

Who is considered as a civil sector representative

A representative of the civil sector is considered to be an individual, initiative group (unregistered association) or legal entity that resides in the territory of the municipality and/or has close ties with the municipality through its activities.

 

How to become a member


A person wishing to become a member shall apply to the executive body of the organization - the Governing Board - with an application in the prescribed form, which shall decide on the issue of accepting the person as a member no later than 3 (three) months after the submission of the application. The Governing Board shall notify the person wishing to become a member in writing of the refusal of the Governing Board to accept the person as a member. 

The founders of the organization and persons joining later enjoy equal status.
