With the support of the European Union, on 5-6 February this year, representatives of the Local Action Groups (LAGs) of Racha-Lechkhumi, Lower Svaneti and Guria paid a working visit to Keda Municipality.
During the visit, representatives of the newly established LAGs of Guria, Racha-Lechkhumi and Lower Svaneti met with representatives of the Keda LAG, learned about their experience in establishing a LAG, developing a local development strategy and its activities; and the Chair of GALAG, Nino Tikishvili, provided them with information about GALAG.
The purpose of the working visit was to share experiences between LAGs, exchange views and discuss possible cooperation.
During the working visit, representatives of the Racha-Lechkhumi, Lower Svaneti and Guria Local Action Groups visited the following business projects implemented in Keda Municipality under the EU-funded ENPARD program: Château Iveri; Kerki; KAI FRIES; Hill Inn; Zipline Makhuntseti.
The working meeting was held within the framework of the EU ENPARD 4 program, in cooperation with the Innovation and Reform Center (IRC) and the CENN project “Green Guria - Supporting Local Democracy and Rural Development for Inclusive and Sustainable Green Growth”.
